(Bradenton, Fla., September 24, 2024) — ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) District Board of Trustees (BOT) held its regular monthly meeting on September 24.

The board heard presentations on:

• Organizational Meeting for the purpose of electing a Chair and Vice Chair of the District Board of Trustees from Tommy Gregory, J.D., president of SCF.
• ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈMission Statement Annual Review from Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness, Dr. Ryan Hale.
• Presidential Goals from ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈPresident Tommy Gregory.

The board approved:

• Nonfinancial and financial consent agenda items.
• A contract in the amount of $574,984.11 with The Garland Company Inc. to replace the flat roof sections on Student Services Building 1 at ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈBradenton.
• Increasing the maximum limit for continuing contracts covered by the Competitive Consultant Negotiation Act per project construction cost from $4 million to $7.5 million.
• Amending President Goal three “increase enrollment by 1%” to 2%.
